The Workshops organized 6 international workshops in Porto-Novo, as part of cooperation between the Beninese capital and the Cergy-Pontoise urban community. Strategies have emerged aimed at preserving and promoting the lagoon of this delicate territory. The “Porto-Novo green city” program made it possible, with the support of the French Development Agency and the French Fund for the Global Environment, to develop and implement this vision through the development of the banks of this wetland, as of 2015.
